It is based onobject-oriented programming, Design++ integrates CAD tools (AutoCAD,Computervision, Calma) with databases (ORACLE, SYBASE) and withpublishing software (Interleaf, FrameMaker).Typical applications include design of process plants, machinery,buildings, and telecommunications networks. Design++ can also be used toconfigure documents. It uses concurrent engineering and enterprisecomputing.
